KIXIK (kixik.eu) is an equipment management platform that helps businesses track, maintain, and manage their equipment using Smart Tags and digital maintenance logs.

2. What Data We Collect

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely via Supabase (supabase.com), with servers located in the European Union. Supabase complies with GDPR requirements.

We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and access controls to protect your data.

5. Cookies

KIXIK uses only essential technical cookies required for the service to function (such as language preference). We do not use:

Advertising or tracking cookies
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Hotjar, etc.)
Social media tracking pixels

Because we only use essential cookies, no cookie consent banner is required.

6. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Union, you have the following rights:

Access – request a copy of your personal data
Correction – request correction of inaccurate data
Deletion – request deletion of your personal data ("right to be forgotten")
Portability – request your data in a portable format
Objection – object to certain types of processing

7. Data Retention

Contact form submissions: deleted after 12 months
Equipment and service data: retained as long as your account is active
Server logs: retained for 90 days for security purposes

Upon account cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days and then permanently deleted upon request.

8. Third-Party Services

KIXIK uses the following third-party services:

Supabase (supabase.com) – database and authentication
Vercel (vercel.com) – website hosting

Each of these services has their own privacy policy and GDPR compliance measures.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify active users by email.
